As reported, 11 Latvian municipalities are committed to organizing an external vote in these municipal elections.

All voting places can be found on the Central Election Commission (CEC) website.

10.2% of voters have voted in the Latvian municipal elections in the previous voting days, CEC told LETA.

During the previous voting of the municipal elections, 140,428 or 10.2% of the voters have voted in Latvia.

The highest activity was in Riga, where 12.18% of the population voted in four days, followed by Vidzeme with 10.49%, Latgale with 8.93% and Zemgale with 8.56%. The lowest activity was in Kurzeme, where 8.17% of voters voted in the previous vote.

Previous voting on Monday and Wednesday was accompanied by technical problems that influenced the work of the system and registers needed for the process. No major problems were reported on Tuesday and Thursday.

It is possible to vote during the previous voting on Friday from 12 noon to 3 pm.

On Saturday, there will be an official election day.

Similarly, by Saturday at 12 noon, those who are eligible for Latvian residents who do not allow the polling station to be on the day of municipal elections have the opportunity to apply for their location in their municipality. For the first time in these elections, off -site voting opportunities will also be organized.
