On May 6, SeeNext shoppers, who visited the five largest retail chains in Vilnius and Kaunas, purchased a similar basket of frequent consumer goods. It consisted of 23 goods of different food categories – milk, meat, cereals and undergraduates, fruits and vegetables and drinks.

The study revealed that the amount of Lidl frequent consumer goods cart was € 36.80 and was the smallest of all retail chains.

According to the study, the cheapest dairy products were available on the Lidl retail chain that day, with a price of € 7.50. It is as much as € 1.40 cheaper than the most expensive dairy products at the retail chain store.

The lowest price on May 6 was also recorded for the products of cereal origin in Lidl, which was paid € 3.13 or EUR 0.37 less than the most expensive cereal -based retail network.
