– I sat down, it was after 20, when I heard a crack. I didn't know what happened. I thought that maybe a neighbor of the cylinder broke out or a tire in a tractor. Because it was such a bang – says the man.
He went outside. But he still did not come up with anything that could explain the secret of a strange sound. He came back. – Only then did I see the neighbors with flashlights. They also heard a bang. We wondered if this planet had fallen. There was nothing. We have just seen that in the yard some tubes are lying, then that the roof is damaged. Sheet metal, rafters, patches crawled – he recalls.
Knyszewicze. Darkness, bang and hole in the roof of Mr. Jan. What happened in the village?
Jan Jurkiewicz lives across the street. – I left the garage and heard the sound like a drone. I started staring at the sky. I heard a whistle, I saw a glow. A moment later there was a crack. Such a strange, sharp crack – tells the reporter « Fakt ». He immediately called Stanisław Nicewicz, known in the area of the space enthusiast (who has the heaven registration devices), with information that the meteorite fell.
Stanisław Nicewicz, a physicist and mathematician by profession, together with his wife joined the Skytinel project. Thanks to people like Mr. Stanisław, fascinated by space, an observation network is created equipped with modern, sensitive cameras that, for example, can record a decrease in a meteorite. « Our cameras watch the sky 24 hours a day, » he says. It is very boring, because the camera is very dim, so nothing can be seen. Sometimes some birds flying. I must admit that I was happy when, despite the windows closed at home, I heard a bang. It was a sign that something fell. I started to view monitoring immediately. It wasn't a minute, and my neighbor called me: « Stasiek, a meteorite fell. » He heard a hiss, noise and a bang.

Mr. Stanisław and his wife took a thermal imaging camera in search. – On the way we even crossed the yard of Mr. Janek Kiszycki. We passed a package wrapped in foil, thinking that they were plants protected for the winter. But we went on – he says. Because they found nothing, he decided to go home and use his analytical mind. On the basis of the recording, he designated a line of decline in an unspecified subject. We managed to select a place. – When we returned there, a hole in the roof of Mr. Jan's house immediately caught our eye. And we found what the hole did. It was a package. We read the inscriptions. Unfortunately, there were only cigarettes in it – he adds, without hiding disappointment.
– She was lying in the garden. Such a package measuring about 60 by 70 cm. The force of the impact was great, which can be seen from the damage. As if someone fell on the car on the way or on a passerby, it is better not to speak. But it ended not too badly. As you can see, people have different ways to live. Well, unfortunately, this will not change, and the technique does its job – says the idea of smugglers Jan Jurkiewicz.
– The neighbors called the army. Some, others came, took everything. They said that there were 1,500 packs of cigarettes inside. Thirty kilos certainly weighed it. And that's it – smiles the owner of the house where the package fell. Destruction remained. The hole in the roof had to mask so that the rain would not fall inside. – It's good that it fell into the garden, because if someone, he could hurt, the tragedy would be – he waves only his hand when asked about damage.

Stanisław Nicewicz draws attention to the high probability that the object he noticed on the registrator could pre -look like a meteorite. – The last days were full of falling Musk rocket tankswhich our camera also recorded in the Lublin area. And here is such an unfortunate situation with cigarettes. When I analyzed the recording, there were indeed incompatible: this line in the sky was too narrow, there were no signs of burning on the roof – the man lists. Still, it sensitizes for subsequent such events. – Most packages, as you could read in the media, fall in the field, in the meadow, and this is the first case that it hit something. And in addition in a inhabited village. Such a package, however, weighs its own. If she hit a man, there could be death in place – he says. Mr. Stanisław points out that if we hear a hiss, a bang, it is better not to look where it comes from, but look for a place where you can escape. – It is easier to hear such a sound at night than during the day when more noise surrounds us. I calculated that there are seven seconds to hide, you could hear the sound before the inheritance, so I am allergic: try to get off the line of such a inheritance – he warns.
Jan Jurkiewicz, when asked if he was afraid of objects that are falling from heaven recently, he says briefly: – Here people survived everything, so it's not afraid of us. It is important that the drone does not fall with a load, with a bomb.
And he adds a joke: – It is a pity that the investigators did not leave this package. How much would someone smoke …
