In Kiev, a 43-year-old man will be tried for sexual and domestic violence against a minor. The attacker faces up to 12 years in prison.
About it reported in the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
Law enforcement officers found that for about eight months, a resident of Kiev had forced a 16-year-old step to sexual relations. To do this, the man enjoyed his age, physical advantage, as well as the absence of the mother of the child at home.
In addition, the abuser created intimate images of the girl and threatened to spread them. According to the prosecutor’s office, the schoolgirl also suffered from domestic violence – his stepfather offended her verbally, controlled the use of the phone and restricted communication with peers.
The man reported suspicion of several articles of the Criminal Code:
- Part 3 of Article 154 – forcing sexual intercourse, combined with threat;
- Part 1 of Article 301-1-production and storage of pornographic materials;
- Part 3 of Article 301-1-re-production and storage of pornographic materials;
- Article 126-1-domestic violence.
The man chose a non -alternative preventive measure in the form of detention. He faces up to 12 years in prison.
Law enforcement officers were sent to court.
