In Hungary they discovered another focus of the Slovak border about 40 kilometers from the Slovak border
An epidemiological investigation is underway.
Budapest. Infection Slinters and cubes appeared on another cattle farm in the Rabian-Mošon-Sopron stool, this time in the village of Rabapordan about 40 kilometers from the Slovak border.
According to Infostart.hu server, Hungarian Minister of Agriculture István Nagy confirmed this, informs TASR newsletter in Budapest.
After the villages of Kisbajcs, Levél, Darnózseli and Dunakiliti, the presence of the virus was also found in the fifth place, the minister recalled.
He announced that they have introduced immediate measures and 600 pieces of cattle on the Rabapordan farm will first be vaccinated and subsequently in accordance with the protocols.
Nagy informed that an epidemiological investigation is underway, seeking possible shortcomings in measures and also checking possible contact farms.
In Slovakia, there was an infection in mid -March on three cattle farms. For this reason, the Hungarian chief veterinarian ordered the census of animals on farms with pig breeding, cattle, sheep and goats in virtually all villages of small Žitný ostrov.
Since then, the measure in Hungary has been tightened and domestic livestock breeders had to spend their animals.
For Slintečka and Krivačka, whose next fireplace was confirmed on March 26 in the village of Level, all small border crossings between Slovakia and Hungary were then closed.
Decontamination gates and fords were placed on the large border crossings such as Rajka, Medveďov, Komárno and Štúrovo.
