In Hague 150,000 people for gauze
In Hague today, a crowd of tens of thousands of people gathered at the Palestinian Demonstrations in Gaza, according to the organizers, as much as 150,000. They demanded that the Dutch government do more to stop genocide in Gaza, according to French news agency AFP. Prime minister Dick Schoof informed them that they « see and hear them ».
Human school organizations such as Amnesty International and Oxfam have prepared a march through the city all the way to the International Court of Human Rights.

Many protesters have voted Palestinian flags, some exclaiming « Stop genocide! » Looked banners with « don’t look away, do something », « stop the Dutch complicity » and « be quiet when the kids sleep, not when they die. »
One of the organizing groups, Oxfam Novib, estimated that 150,000 people attended the hike. Dutch police usually do not give assessments of participating in demonstrations.

« More than 150,000 people dressed in red, and the obvious majority of the Dutch population, wants concrete sanctions to stop genocide in Gaza, » said director Oxfam Novib Michiel Servaes.
One of the protest participants, a 67-year-old pensioner, told AFP that the gauze had to end. “It has to stop. It’s enough enough. I can no longer carry. I’m here because I think this may be the only thing you can do now as a Dutch citizen, but that’s something you have to do, « she added.
