In Eastern Slovakia they can open circuses and zoo
The state has made measures against infection.
BRATISLAVA. Since today, April 28, new measures apply in connection with Slintecka and a wing (Slak).
As the Ministry of Agriculture informed, this applies in particular to the relocation of susceptible animals of cows and sheep to other farms and pastures in regions outside the restriction zone, as well as the possibility of opening the Zoo in the Košice and Prešov region.
Perceptive animals can only be moved in Trenčín, Žilina, Banská Bystrica, Prešov and Košice regions. The moved animals must have a confirmation of the regional veterinary administration for further breeding, a clinical examination within 24 hours before relocation, negative results of the blood examination for the slak. « It must be a direct transfer from the breeding in which the animals were at least 30 days, » the ministry pointed out.
When moving to grazing, blood tests are not required if they do not come into contact with animals from another breeding. The means of transport must be cleaned and disinfected.
“Exports beyond the borders or collection to collection centers is only possible if the animals are heading for a slaughterhouse, the ministry emphasized.
They can open facilities for public exhibition, including the ZOO and Circs in the Prešov and Košice regions, which are perceived by animals. Persons and vehicles must pass at the entrance/entry and output by disinfection – mat, ford, gate. Hand disinfection is also necessary at the entry and output of persons.
