In Crimea, they began to judge the accused in the case of a terrorist attack against the head of Crimea Aksenov

In Rostov-on-Don, in a military court in the trial in the case of attempt on the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, two out of three defendants said that they pleaded guilty. According to investigators, they intended to undermine an official’s car, but the FSB officers managed to prevent a terrorist attack in time.

In the Southern District Military Court, hearings began on the merits of the criminal case on preparation for the terrorist attack, which are held by Vladimir Bodnar, Oksana Shevchenko and Vladimir Ananyev. The representative of the military prosecutor’s office read out the indictment.

According to investigators, in February 2022, an employee of the SBU (the name was not disclosed, the criminal case against him was allocated into separate proceedings) created a group to commit a terrorist attack against the leaders of Crimea. He involved Vladimir Bodnar and Oksana Shevchenko first to the implementation of his plan, then, the 75-year-old Vladimir Ananiev joined the terrorist group. According to Kommersant’s sources, the last long time was engaged in legal practice on the peninsula, related mainly with land issues, in 2014 he left for Kyiv, but in November 2023 he returned back to the Crimea. According to Kommersant’s interlocutors, he did not hide his political views, occupying a pro -Ukrainian position.

According to the case file, the defendants chose the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov as their goal. According to investigators, Vladimir Bodnar and Oksana Shevchenko were directly preparing the attack.

In particular, Vladimir Bodnar went to Zaporozhye and brought from the Crimea the components of the explosive device.

At first, on the case file, they were stored at home by Vladimir Ananyev, and when a home -made bomb was assembled, it was hidden in a garage in Simferopol, which was rented by Oksana Shevchenko. At the same time, Bodnar and Shevchenko established surveillance of the head of the republic, primarily the movements of his service car.

Meanwhile, the FSB operatives went on the trail of the attackers and in February 2024 detained them. During the search, they found and seized a radio -controlled implerse explosive device from an anti -tank mine, a distance fuse that involves connecting a mobile phone, and a number of other components. A criminal case was opened against the detainees under Part 1 of Art. 30 and p. « B » part 3 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code (preparation for a terrorist act), Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage, carrying, transportation of explosives and explosive devices).

During the investigation, Vladimir Bodnar fully pleaded guilty and concluded a pre -trial agreement on cooperation.

In February of this year, a criminal case against three defendants was transferred to the Southern District Military Court. At the process, Vladimir Bondar confirmed his position in relation to the charges against him. After the prosecutor read out the indictment and the presiding judge asked the rest of the defendants how they relate to the version of the investigation, Oksana Shevchenko also stated her guilt. But Vladimir Ananyev rejected his involvement in the crimes that he is charged with. According to some reports, he considers his criminal case fabricated.

Note that this is only one of the series of criminal cases of preparing attempts to the head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov.

In 2023, the FSB reported the disruption of two attempts to commit terrorist attacks, the victim of which was to be an official. In May, Mr. Aksenov himself spoke that he knew about the four assassination attempts on him, who were prevented by special services, and in all cases the attackers were detained. And in August 2024, the same Southern District Military Court Sentenced Crimean Igor Korchinsky by 18 years in prison for trying to undermine the car of the head of the Crimea. Based on the case materials, a year earlier, the defendant was recruited by the Ukrainian special services, from which he received the task to commit a terrorist attack in Simferopol. The attacker followed Mr. Aksenov, studied the alleged place of the attack. After that, he put on the map a possible route of the movement of the car of Sergey Aksenov to the place of the planned explosion. But the investigator’s plans were torn by the attacker.
