Disciplinary proceedings will be launched against two customs officials for the performance of poor official duties, as well as up to seven officials of the Tax and Customs Police.

Officials will continue to perform their duties during the disciplinary investigation, as Schmite-Roze will not see the reasons for dismissing them at the moment.

Schmite-Roze said he should not name officials’ positions and surnames.

The disciplinary case can last up to a month, and can be extended if necessary.
