BRATISLAVA. A train knocked two people near the Bratislava – Vinohrady railway station on Saturday before 17.30.
The woman succumbed to the injuries, a man with serious injuries escaped from the place, informed the Bratislava regional police spokesman Michal Szeiff.
According to the information so far, both of them came into the runway passing through a fast train, heading from the main railway station.
« Despite the immediate use of brakes, the driver could no longer prevent the collision, » Szeiff said.
The police are currently documenting the circumstances of the event. At the same time, he searches for an unknown man who escaped from the accident. The identity of a woman who succumbed to the injuries is also unknown.
