The Northern Cyprus Badminton Federation has left another important stage in the goal of bringing athletes to the Turkish National Team. Four athletes affiliated to the Federation will compete with the Turkish jersey in two separate international tournaments in Istanbul in July.

In the Istanbul Junior International U19 tournament, which will be held on July 24-27, 2025, the national athletes will have Nehir Deniz and Marko Lesinger. In the Istanbul Youth Open 2025 tournament, which will be held between 9-13 July 2025, South Serinyürek and Ali Dilekçi, who will wear the Turkish National Team jersey for the first time, will compete.

Deniz: Our projects started to fruit

Badminton Federation President Fırat Deniz, said that it is proud that 4 athletes will compete with the Turkish National Team at the international level.
