Immediately after the elections, investments begin in Elbasan. Latja and Qose inspect works in Labinot-Fusha

The Mayor of Elbasan, Gledian Latja, accompanied by the newly elected MP on May 11, Adi Qose, have closely inspected the works that have begun for the asphalting of the road in the Ballinj neighborhood, part of the village of Labinot, in the Labinot Fushe Administrative Unit.

Immediately after the elections, the Municipality of Elbasan has intensified interventions to systematize and improve infrastructure, in order to increase the quality of living for all residents. The road being built has a length of 465 meters of linear and is part of a wider investment plan in both the city and the rural areas.

« This investment was indispensable due to the difficult conditions of the terrain and the constant problems caused by the stream of Gurra, which often, in heavy rainfall, has damaged agricultural lands and posed a danger to residents, » said Mayor Llatja. He added that the intervention has begun with the cleaning of the stream and is continuing with asphalting, a project previously discussed with residents during the participation budgeting process.

During the inspection, MP Adi Qose thanked Mayor Llatja for the engagement and realization of this investment, stressing that it was an early request of the local community. « This road is extremely important as it connects the area with the national road and significantly improves the lives of residents. It is a promise kept and a good omen that are starting from Labinot Fushe, » Qose said.

Elbasan Municipality has undertaken numerous interventions in the village of Labinot Fushe, especially in improving the asphalt layers of neighborhood roads as part of a comprehensive development plan.

« The elections ended, now we are all mobilized to work and be in the service of the citizens, » Latja concluded.
