IMGW warns. Storms with heavy rainfall in Podkarpackie and Lesser Poland
The warnings will apply from 11 to evening. Similar warnings were also published the day before, May 3 this year. The inhabitants of the southern regions of Poland received telephones RCB alert.
IMGW alert before storms
The warnings apply to many poviats in the Podkarpackie Voivodship, including Lubaczów, Jarosław, Przeworsk, Leżajsk, Łańcut, Rzeszów, Przemyśl, Bieszczady, Leski, Sanocki, Krosno, Krosno, Jasielski, Strzyżowski, Brzozowski, as well as the cities of Krosno, Rzeszów and Przemyśl. Gorlice and Tatra poviats are threatened in Lesser Poland.
IMGW It informs that storms can be intense places, with rainfall from 20 mm to 30 mm and gusts of wind up to 75 km/h. A hail is also possible. The probability of these phenomena is 80 percent.
IMGW recommendations for residents
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management recommends caution and tracking messages about the development of the weather situation. A warning of the 1st degree means that the conditions are conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that can cause material losses and health and life threat. Residents should be prepared for possible difficulties related to the weather.
