IMGW warns against frosts. Arctic air is coming over Poland
Freezki can be felt not only for drivers, but also gardeners. In many places, the temperature at night will drop below zero. Experts advise to protect the plants from cold as soon as possible.
Watch out for frost in Poland! At night temperatures even in a minus
IMGW synoptic Michał Ogrodnik announced that at night from Saturday to Sunday throughout Poland there will be frost. First degree meteorological warnings are in force in the majority of the country. On Saturday, the weather will be sunny, with a small cloudiness in the south and east. The temperature will be from 7 degrees Car over the Gulf of Gdańsk to 14 degrees Celsius in the West.

On Saturday, it will be sunny throughout the country, with slight cloudiness locally in the south and in the eastern part of Poland. The temperature will range from 7 degrees C in the region of the Gulf of Gdańsk, through 9 degrees C in the Suwałki region, 12 degrees C in the center, to 14 degrees Celsius at the western ends. The wind will be weak, moderate and gusty periods, reaching speed up to 45 km/h.
IMGW extends the warning time. Frosty nights will not end so quickly
The IMGW synoptic pointed out that the night will be cheerful, but cool due to the arctic air mass. Warnings about frosts apply until 6:30 on Sunday. The temperature will drop to -5 degrees Celsius at the ground, and locally in Mazovia, north and in the Carpathian Valley to -2 degrees C. In the remaining area of the country, thermometers will indicate from 0 to 2 degrees C. The wind will be weak, in Western Pomerania moderate periods.
Sunny Sunday with a cool morning
Sunday will bring sunny weather throughout the country. Temperatures will range from 10 degrees Celsius in Suwałki, Gdańsk, Hel and Zakopane, through 11 degrees C in the east, about 13 degrees Celsius in the center, to 15 degrees Celsius in the west and south of Poland. The wind will remain weak, moderate and gusty in the south, reaching speeds up to 40 km/h.
On the night of Sunday to Monday it will be cheerful, and warmer air will flow from the west, which will cause the frosts to be less intense. The coldest areas will remain the Carpathian Valley and the eastern part of the country, where the temperature will drop to -1 degrees C. In the west, thermometers will indicate 3 degrees C. The wind will be weak, southeast and east.
