IMGW reveals which month will be the warmest. Then plan your vacation
Although outside the window only Maymany of us are already wondering when it is best to plan a holiday vacation. Polish summer can be capricious – once tropical heat, Another time, rain and cold for a week in a row.
But there is good news: the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has just published an experimental long -term forecast for the summer months 2025. Thanks to it, it’s easier to decide when it is best to go to the sea, mountains or Masuria. We checked what awaits us from June to September.

This may be the perfect month for those who do not like crowds, but want to feel summer. According to IMGW, June will be warmer than usual – in the whole country, also in Pomerania, the temperatures are to be above the average from 1991–2020. Rainfall? Normal. That is: warm, but without tropical storms. Perfect for the first sunbathing

What about July? Synoptics presented the forecast
July is traditionally associated with the full holiday season. This year, IMGW forecasts temperatures above the norm in most Poland, but … at the sea they can be more moderate – within the norm.
Precipitation also normal, so classic, holiday weather. If you like buzz, screens and waffles – it’s still a good choice. However, the heat is uncertain during this period.

August 2025: Hit of the season. It will be hot!
August promises to be the best. Temperatures throughout the country, including on the coast, are to be above the norm – that is, the real summer of the century is being prepared. Rainfall? Normal. In short: a lot of sun, perfect water, beach like a folder. If you are not disturbed by crowds – book just August.

If you can take a vacation a little later – it could be a hit. September is to be warmer than usual, with pleasant weather and without excess rainfall. And most importantly – fewer tourists. It’s the perfect time for a quiet rest, walking on the beach and romantic sunsets without a roar of inflatable unicorns in the background.
