The former candidate of the coalition for the presidential elections, Crin Antonescu, reacted after Cristian Tudor Popescu reproached him that he did not express his support for Nicușor Dan.

No, Mr. Cristian Tudor Popescu, I’m not afraid of Simion. I am not afraid of the « hots » organized on the grounds that I do not support, immediately and unconditionally, Mr. Dan. You also know that if I was not afraid of the pack of security forces, prosecutors and intellectuals in Basescu’s leash, I am not afraid of Simion’s threats (if this is). (..)
I’m not afraid. But I am forced, deep forced, by the hypocrisy of all the dryers gathered in the « great coalition » for « rescue ». I understand and respect the option of sincere people who vote and try to determine other votes for Mr. Dan, for reasons related to their choice. I have no doubt that you count yourself among them.

The answer comes after Cristian Tudor Popescu charged it because « he cannot choose between N. Dan, a well -known evil, and G. Simion, an unknown evil » and that he « put it in the shelter ».
