Ilon Musk after poll calls for establishing a new political party in the United States
The billionaire and former Head of the Department of Efficiency of the Government, Elon Musk, said the United States needed a new political party, a conclusion that came a day after publishing a poll on the X social network, asking its followers whether a party should be needed « 80 percent of people in the middle », or voters.
Musk first mentioned the idea on Thursday, and in a poll released yesterday on his 220 million social networking followers, he received 80 percent support, CBS News reported.

When asked about a possible conversation with Musk, Trump replied, « Think of a man who has lost his reason? », Stressing that he is not interested in any communication with his former associate at the moment, though, as he said, Musk wants to talk to him.
Trump then switched to other topics, such as inflation, foreign investors and his planned visit to China.
People close to Trump say he was more « depleted than angry over the tense relationship with Musk. »
According to information released by the ABC, citing a senior administration official, Trump is considering giving or selling his red Tesla, which he bought to support Musk’s work.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Al Arabia, Musk’s father, Erol Musk, said he had contacted his son, calling for him to end the « conflict » with Trump. The dispute between the US president and the former DOGE chief began after Musk criticized Trump’s spending and tax law that affects the electric vehicle business.
Trump responded that he was not sure he would be in good relations with Musk in the future, and Tesla’s owner then accused the Republican of being in the files of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epostin.
