Igor Stimac apologized to Marija Pasalic: ‘I inadvertently pulled him into a wrong context’

Stimac realized that he had made inaccurate allegations and apologized to the Atalanta football player in the show Truth to Naked.
– I am obliged to apologize to our dear Mario Pasalic because I inadvertently pulled him into a wrong context. Lest anyone think that he worked as dishonest in that part. On one of the many issues of the court, where they asked me to explain the way of doing business and how it all went, I mentioned that he had sold or handed over some of the transfer compensation that belonged to him when moving from Hajduk to Chelsea, which is not true – said Stimac, adding:
– For that reason, I apologize to him. That’s what Hajduk did, not him. Hajduk sold the right to transfer. It was a practice, I mean, according to the law that was in force in Croatia all sometime until 2009, it could be done. The club or player could sell the rights to a part of their transfer compensation if they needed money earlier. So – Mario, apology. I have no problem with apologizing if I am wrong.

Pasalic is a exemplary football player and for seven years a standard Croatian national team player. Since 2018, he has been a member of Atalanta and has made a great career without the least stain on it. He never participated in something out of the ordinary, and this was now confirmed by Stimac, who apologized to him.
