At the same time, he suggests throwing the shoes and moving barefoot on natural surfaces such as grass and soil – a practice known as grounding.

According to Mads Tömörkènyi, grounding can, among other things, reduce stress, attenuate inflammation, improve sleep and provide more energy.

His explanation is that the body absorbs electrons from the Earth’s surface, which should have a positive impact on health.

If it is squeezing with the motivation to get to the gym, it does not mean that your workout must be deleted.

Instead, you can step out into the garden, throw the shoes and let nature form the frame of your movement.
