Part of the company’s expert team is also Žiga Pižorn, Director of Sales of Energy and Solution at Petrolwhere they are engaged in the development of advanced energy solutions for businesses and the public sector. Their key services include energy rehabilitation and renovation of buildings, the management of facilities and the installation of solar power plants and battery stores, with the focus of smart energy management – how to produce, consume and guide it in the most efficient way.

His path to one of the key leadership positions in the largest Slovenian energy company was not accidental – it was created early by domestic experience and consolidated international education and several years of work on demanding, strategically important projects. His professional journey did not begin behind the walls of a professional institution, but at home. When he was a teenager, his father started building a passive house. “I was interested in everything – from materials to heating mode. At the time, I felt that this was something I would like to deal with in life. ”This feeling led him to a master’s degree in sustainable energy engineering in Sweden, where he received a broader view of global challenges and solutions, but today he transfers this knowledge to practice on a daily basis – as director of sales in Petrol.

But as he emphasizes, « There would be nothing without the team. You can still have such a good idea, but if it doesn’t stand a good team, it’s not going. The team is the cornerstone of every success. «

Among the projects that Žiga Pižorn is most proud of are the energy renovation of buildings for municipalities across Slovenia. “It is not just about renovation, but that the facilities are managed in the long run. Žiga describes her work as dynamic, creative and development -oriented. Each week begins with team meetings, goals and results review, followed by meetings with clients, analysis of new projects and – which is crucial – a constant search for better solutions.
