Because in reality, a regular B driver’s license gives access to several types of two-wheeler and even tricycle-and some of them without the requirement of extra sample.

More overlooked options
One of the least known benefits is the right to run tricycle scooters.
If the engine is under 50 cm³, you must roll off without extra training.
But if you want to get into the slightly heavier models – eg Piaggio MP3 or Yamaha Tricity 125 – you have to go through a seven hour teaching where you learn how to handle turns, braking and steering.

If you have had your driver’s license for two years and are 21, you can – again after a seven hour workout – sit up on a motorcycle of up to 125 cm³.
It may sound modest, but models like Yamaha MT-125 and Honda CB125R are both stylish, cheap in operation and perfect for city driving.
Worth remembering
Before you go off on your new scooter, it is important to familiarize yourself with the rules, take the necessary training – and get control of the insurance.
If you choose the right model and are well prepared, two or three wheels can be a practical and cheap solution for everyday transport.
