Identified suspected of involvement in aggressions with the Alvalade School

The Public Security Police (PSP) identified the suspect of assaulting the doorman from a school in Alvalade, Lisbon and another person next to a car. On Monday there was disadvantage with a group between 20 and 25 young people with this educational establishment.

« It was identified by the PSP the possible suspect of the crime of offenses to physical integrity against the school official, as well as the other adult involved, found with the car where he was transporting, near the place of the incident, » the PSP said in a statement.

In the note, the PSP Lisbon Metropolitan Command said it had received a call from the Father António Vieira Secondary School on Monday, giving an disorder in a street adjacent to the establishment.

« Arrived at the scene, the police of the 2nd Division of the PSP Lisbon Metropolitan Command, including the PSP teams affecting the Second School Program, found a cluster of people, being the situation at that time calm, managing steps to investigate the facts, » reports the PSP statement.

The 20 to 25 young people would have been involved in a disorder on Eugénio de Castro Street, and in that place three adults appeared. According to police, « at this time, the group of young people was chased by two of the adults to the school gate, having one of them in place in the venue after assaulting one of the porters. »

During the collection of information through witnesses there was « reference to the possible existence of a metallic object in possession of one of the adults, which, until the end of the steps carried out by the PSP at that time, was not verified. »
