« I was hit, spit, cursed »

USR claims that violence has occurred on Sunday, in front of a polling station in Ambilly, France. A member of the diaspora formation would have been hit, spit and swear by a group of people who were gag.

USR shows, in a press release sent on Sunday afternoon, that a USR Diaspora member was hit, spit and verbally assaulted by a group of individuals in front of the polling station no. 189 from Ambilly, France. The group consisting of 15-20 individuals made a total hug and did not comply with the law in the perimeter of the section.

« I was hit, spit, cursed. But first I voted. For the silent patriotism, without interest, honest. Then, because it was a hellish hug at the entrance to the voting section, I told the president of the polling station. This is the voting section no. 189 from Ambilly, France. Their face and I told them that we are all Romanians and we must respect the law.

USR added that it will ask the competent authorities to investigate these facts and networks that contribute to the compromise of the democratic process.

« It is unacceptable that, in a European state, Romanian citizens will be assaulted for the simple fact that they express their right to vote or take an attitude to respect the law, » the formation said.
