I see strictly separated

Someone determines/that smoke/decayed landscape/trapped in breath/and with exhalation/vastin a song are songs about songs writes Alja Pušič (2003), a student at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana. As he says, poetry is a necessity, it also devotes herself to her under the auspices of the collective bamboo, focused on music poetry.

Alja Pušič stepped into poetry at II. Maribor High School, when she joined the literary workshop under the mentorship of the poet Nina Medved, then published poems on portals such as the corridor – the intersections of the art and the MKC letter, in the proceedings Rukopismagazines Mentor and A liter of language and Literary Krpanke and proceedings II. grammar schools.

She is also a finalist Župančič’s fruits, Poet Olympiad and The little Veronicsrecipient of red threads 2024 for poetry and winner of Beletrina’s competition Let the song 2021within which she also hosted on Days of poetry and wine. In tandem with a jazz musician Gasper to the trees are under the name bamboo He also devotes his poetry, with the two moon’s auspices released last year by the album of Municical Poetry infinitely long conversationsand are currently in a hurry after concerts around Slovenia.

« Whatever I write, it is a song, » says the author, who is not limited to writing poetry, but “at the same time I have not felt any other artistic landscape than myself. Definitely poetry expresses the values I see in movement and people – it is direct, not circulation, is in unprotected, vulnerable forms. «

The song is incurred in a few minutes, and if it doesn’t work completely, I immediately discard it. As a good song, I perceive one that is capable of correspondence within the poem and between paper and me as a ‘craftsman’ in the time of the enthusiasm of her writing – she talks outward and inward, something breaks out of her. I do not perceive writing as a therapy, but I have dealing with myself and engaging in poetry strictly separated, which always surprises my colleagues when I tell them that the song is not relieved for me on a personal level. «

Establishing yourself of your own language

A poet, who also deals with scenery when studying architecture, does not discuss content positions, as he believes that « content is not one of the criteria of poetry, I do not think about it and it seems irrelevant to me – about what You write, it’s irrelevant compared to this how You write that. I cannot talk about content because I do not want to report anything directly with my poetry, I do not address directly. I like to say that my writing means nothing – I just had to write a song. «

However, she emphasizes that her more recent songs have « a strong rhythm. In the process of writing and reading, I most feel verse transfers, and thus accents and has, I also focus on interpretation. «

Also, Alja Pušič is striving for « refined, hooked poetry », and currently has no desire to experiment, he says, but to establish himself of his own language. « Although it is difficult to imagine that it is possible to create your own and never seen work, the authors more than obviously introduce their own moves to recognize them – already in the youngest generation of writers in Slovenia, who socialize with literary competitions and events, this is obvious. »

The poet emphasizes that « the circle of young people, with whom we really felt in the aforementioned occasions, is crucial for her work and understanding of poetry, and that makes me even more convinced of how crucial it is to read the work of peers – the authors of the same time and the environment. Poetry circles are, as a rule, very closed structures, at the  » end of Slovenia ‘fight against this Nina Medved With the Institute two moon, which, in my opinion, plays a key role for young writing in our country, but certainly for my writing.

I am pleased to have managed to find my endangered kind of people because of writing – Amadeja Rek, Eva Subic, Mila Kodric Cizerl and Sandro Czech as representatives of this kind; Each of us takes our poetic expression, but we have found ourselves through writing, regardless of diversity. «

In addition to the aforementioned, they are inspired by works Toneta Škrjanca, Barbara Korun, Esada Babačić, Anja Zag Golob, Veronika Dintinja and Vinko Möderndorferdomestic authors who « know how to leave silence between words and verses. »

According to Alja Pušič, he currently feels an impulse for the design of the poetry collection, but « the amount of study obligations is convinced by the active dealing with it, so I can hardly wait for this new project to begin. At the same time, I would like to continue to develop on stage inside the collective bambooand the desire is to be a theater, but writing and work would require time and energy that I do not currently have – unfortunately dedication depends on everything else, not just a man himself. «
