I plan to set 25% customs tariffs / day for US goods

The list of US goods planned to set customs tariffs includes soybeans, poultry, rice, sweet corn, fruits and nuts, timber, motorcycles, plastic, textiles, electrical equipment, cosmetics and other beauty products.

However, there is no bubble on this list, with Brussels exposed to the demands of French and Italy’s largest wine exporters, taking into account the threat of US President Donald Trump to set 200% customs tariffs on wine, champagne and other alcoholic beverages from the EU if I set an import tariff bubble.

This list was sent to EU Member States before the upcoming vote on Wednesday.

So far, Brussels has refused to respond to the 20% customs tariffs for imports of goods from the EU, calling on the Member States of the bloc by calling for a negotiation to prevent a full trade war.

However, the EU is about to respond to Trump’s 25% customs tariffs for steel and aluminum imports from the EU.

Initially, the EU intends to restore previously canceled customs tariffs from mid -April. Brussels also plans to introduce new tariffs for US goods, most of which could come into force in mid -May.
