Russian Yekaterina Vedene’swho represented Slovenia in rhythmic gymnastics at the last two Olympics in Tokyo and Paris, announced through social media today that he is closing this chapter in his career. She has recorded more than ten rankings on the winning stage with individual props in the World Cup, and she also has two wins – she has achieved both with a ribbon (Athens 2023, Tashkent 2022). In 2023, as a member of the Ljubljana club Tim, she became the recipient of the Rozanc Award for Outstanding Sports Achievement, awarded by the City of Ljubljana.
