I call as many Albanians in the public administration, but they do not call for a salary of 25,000 denars, the prime minister says
Prime Minister Christian Mickoski called for as many quality Albanians in the public administration, but said, a problem today is to find such, regardless of their ethnicity, working for a salary of 25,000.
-I call on as many Albanian applicants, as many Turkish applicants, Roma, Vlachs, Serbs Bosniaks, to enter the public administration. And I'm not a captive of percent. Just have quality motivated to work, immediately, tomorrow to start working. They do not report, there is no interest. No one will come for 25 thousand denars salary… We have open competitions and please people to get hired, they do not want because they have a better and better paid job. Here, I would like to come in my cabinet now for the salary that it has, everything Albanians be. None. They are not interested – said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, also responding to DUI MP Rina Ajdari, who asked whether the government's government -key job partners were harmonized.
Mickoski said that the state needs professional and quality people, but not to be employed who did not go to work and received a salary, as in the lottery whose director, he said, is on the run.
-No one will come for 25,000 denars and you know why? Because another fugitive who was blacklisted thought this country was his own and played football, so he worked a little in a lottery, so he rented a little room that he was paying ten times more than the market amount, so he was buying facilities in downtown Skopje, tourist agencies. etc. And so did the state budget that could now not afford a higher salary and higher income so that we could be attractive as a sector and there are more Albanians coming to work, which will be motivated and want to work and contribute to our common unitary state. But not on the principle of a lottery where there were dozens, not to say hundreds of receiving a salary, not at work, so they went away. And I can quote you thousands of such examples – Mickoski said, responding to the DUI MP.
It has announced that the framework of future law « who will provide real equitable representation in the administration » is ready before the New Year and that the solution will be constitutional and will not be subject to political debate and collecting political points. In order not to be like the previous law, said Mickoski, who abolished the Constitutional Court, « but to be in line with the Constitution to be applicable ». He announced that the law will be ready soon and will be given an opinion before the Venice Commission before going to parliamentary procedure.
But I am afraid, Mickoski added, « that we will not pass the most brilliant law, we will not find an Albanian who will work for a salary of 25,000 denars when he can get at least twice in the free market. »
Mickoski urged the state to move forward « We have to see things in the state », because « if every ethnicity turns to itself and sees things through its optics, then one day we may no longer talk about a unitary state. »
