Hurezeanu asked for sanctions on Russia’s hybrid actions

Emil Hurezeanu pleaded to continue the pressure on Russia by adopting a new package of restrictive measures, as well as to strengthen the sanctions regarding Russia’s hybrid actions.

The head of the Romanian diplomacy participated in Luxembourg on Monday at the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CAE) in the EU Member States.

EU countries have had discussions on Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, developments in the Middle East and Syria, EU – Africa, as well as Western Balkans. At the current business point, the relations of Armenia – Azerbaijan were discussed, according to a press release sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Regarding Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the Romanian Foreign Minister reiterated « firm support for fair and sustainable peace, supported by solid security guarantees, with US support and involvement of European states » and emphasized the need to continue and strengthen multidimensional support for Ukraine, expressing support for Ukraine.
