Hungary changes constitution: man is either man or woman

Hungary’s parliament has anchored in the state’s constitution that a person can only be defined as a man or woman. Accordingly, non-binary people should not be recognized as such. 140 Parliamentarians voted for the amendment, which the government camp led by right -wing populist Prime Minister Viktor Orban had brought in. There were 21 votes against. The two -thirds majority necessary for constitutional changes came about as expected.
