Hungarians in Icehl replaced the Italians

After the curtain over the season in the extended Austrian hockey league (ICEHL) fell, they have already looked at this competition next winter.

Although 13 teams will continue to play in the league, except that there will be no asiago now, it will be replaced by Ferencvaros from Budapest. Thus, Hungary will have two teams, with the aforementioned Ferhervar, Italy also two (Bolzano, Bruno), Slovenia, just like Olympia, and Austria, 8 clubs: Salzburg, KAC (Klagenfurt), VSV (Villach), Linz, Graz 99ers, Innsbruck, Vienna and Vorarlberg (Feldkirch)

Olympia remains the only Slovenian club under the ICEHL roof, after the last result of failure with the unfulfilled goal of qualifying for the quarterfinals of the playoffs, dragons are expected to put together an even stronger band at the ice and at the professional headquarters. A strong candidate for the coaching position is expected to be one of the prominent North American experts with experience from this extended Austrian league space, at the same time Andrej Tavželj and David Rodmanmost recently the team coach, from the professional perspective, keep a nice future. It is not yet clear if they will remain among the dragons in the future. Certainly, they are first awaited by the home finals with Jesenice, the first match in the two winning series will be on Tuesday, 22. TM, in the Hall of Podmežakla.
