Hundreds of thousands of people took part in US protests against Trump and Musk
Hundreds of thousands of people took part in more than 1,400 protests across all 50 US states against President Donald Trump and US billionaire Ilon Musk, who heads the Government Efficiency Department (DOGE) – reported world media.
CNN and some other media reported that millions of people were taking part in protests, organized by the pro-democratic movement.
The organizers of the demonstration say they are against what they call, « hostile takeover » and attack on US rights and freedoms by Trump and Musk.
Protests were held in the capitals of US states, federal buildings, congressional offices, social security headquarters, parks and city halls across the United States.
The organizers of the protest invited everyone who opposed, among other things, on attacks on democracy, job cuts, deportation of migrants and removing the rights of the LGBTK community, to join the demonstration.
The organizers of the protest include, among other things, civil rights organizations, veterans, women’s rights groups, LGBTCU rights and groups.
Since March 28, Trump has fired at least 121,360 employees of the Federal Agency-according to CNN.
According to organizers, about 150 activist groups have been reported to participate in the protests.
Some protesters wore Ukrainian flags, while others wore Palestinian kefies and « Freedom for Palestine » inscriptions.
White House press secretary Liz Houston has disputed the protesters’ accusations that Trump aims to reduce the cost of social security and Medicare for vulnerable.
As the protests continued all over the country, Trump spent the day playing golf in Florida.
Except in the United States, protests against Trump and Musk were also held in several European cities, including Berlin, Frankfurt, London and Lisbon.
