Human remains discovered behind the cemetery. The police are investigating the matter
On Monday, April 28, Gazeta Pomorska informed the police and Sanepid about the discovery of human bones in the area behind the cemetery in Goszczew. Fragments of the skull, hand and a sternum were visible on the pile of sand – partly buried, but partly exposed, probably by animals.

Residents visiting the graves of their loved ones noticed the bones a few days earlier. One of the people even suggested that « she could have failed exhumation. » Visitors to the cemetery are shocked by the way human remains have been treated. – How can you treat the corpse of another person? – they ask.
Spokeswoman for the Poviat Police Headquarters in Aleksandrów Kujawski, senior asp. Marta Błachowicz, informed that experts and the prosecutor are working on the spot, and the remains found will be secured.
On the other hand, medicine doctor Ewa Jankowska, director of the Poviat Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Aleksandrów Kujawski, said that no one reported to them on exhumation.
