HT achieved 26.6 million profits, dividend grows 7.2 percent

Hrvatski Telekom (HT) earned € 26.6 million in net profit after minority interests in the first quarter, just like in the same period last year, the data is from the financial report of that telecom, which points out that a dividend of EUR 1,64 per share was proposed for 2024, by 7.2 percent higher than in the year before. The total revenues of HT in the first quarter amounted to € 270.1 million, which is 4.9 percent more than in the same quarter last year, while the total expenditure of € 236.9 million increased 5.9 percent.

In addition to the report, HT points out that the custom ebitda grew by three percent, encouraged by the stable growth of revenue, and thus the inflation pressures and growth of labor costs were still alleviated.

HT says that in the first quarter of this year, it increased its investments by 52.8 percent to 60.1 million euros in terms of the same last year.

This has led to a 22 percent increase in the number of households and business users covered with optical network.

The Management Board and the HT Supervisory Board proposed a dividend in the amount of EUR 1.64 per share. The General Assembly will decide on this on June 3.

The amount of EUR 1,64 per share represents the ratio of dividend payment to the realized profit of the company of 92.2 percent and an increase of 7.2 percent compared to 2023.

CEO Natasa Rapaić points out that HT « the largest investments on the market » further strengthened the position of the leading network and expanded the largest optical network in the country by an additional 22 percent.
