Hristodulidis and Holguin met again – Cyprus Newspaper

Greek administration President Nikos Hristodulidis, UN Secretary General’s personal representative Maria Angela Holguin, the personal representative of Cyprus said today.

According to Greek State Radio and Television RIC, the personal representative of the UN Secretary General Maria Angela Holguin, in a statement after the meeting, the multilateral conference in July, not the United Nations, not the two leaders, expressing the commitment to get positive results.

Holguin said that they had a good meeting with Hristodulidis in which the preparations for the meeting in July were discussed and that a strict study was carried out.

Emphasizing the importance of negotiations with two -communal technical committees, Holguin said that he met with the environment, cultural heritage and youth committees.

Holguin also confirmed that he would meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Ankara, and then Greek Foreign Minister Yorgos Yerrapetridis in Athens.

Holguin will then return to Cyprus after completing his talks in London and Brussels.

Holguin also expressed the hope that progress and positive results will be achieved until the meeting in July.

Greek government spokesman Constantinos Citimbiotis said in a statement, in the light of a multilateral conference, expressing his satisfaction with Holguin’s efforts in Cyprus, the interview was a constructive and useful.

Citizbiotis stated that the Greek Administration was looking for dialogue and emphasized the UN’s commitment to the process.
