How to protect your home from theft?

– What effective measures can we take to protect our home? Keymen sometimes say there are no unlockable locks.

– It is right to say that there are no unlocking locks, but there are unlocked locks that do not even need to be unlocked. The fact is that we also face situations where the thieves just go unpaved and bend the handles. This is basically the saying correct, on the other hand, as is not quite the case. This is the first thing to do, which is apparently thinking about the safety of your property, about health security and just behaving responsibly.

– How many thieves are afraid of alarm and CCTV cameras?

– Statistics show that electronic security measures discourage a certain amount and a certain nature thieves. First of all, this is a great preventive measure – when we have a clearly visible, cameras installed, perhaps even a mule could be either video surveillance system, a security alarm field siren on the facade is installed. It then clearly indicates the potential intruder that there is an electronic security system and some of them fall out.

Time is also shorter, because if the system has captured intrusion, then the signal is traveling somewhere, the siren begins to scream and the security service or the property operators become aware of it. Consequently, the time is already shorting, how much thieves can be inside. This means that it must be either very prepared or valuable items should be in visible places.

The third thing is traceability. Sometimes nothing protects against theft, but it is much easier to trace when you have CCTV cameras. Yes, some thieves are covered with a face, but the fact that certain features can trace what committed the crime.

– Thieves also know. There are cars with beractes, or GPS sequelors are blocked in cars – can home security systems be broken?

– In practice, we had no such situations, but I have no doubt that those systems can be broken. The question of what competence should be an intruder to break that system and how much of that property should be in the house to come in so that an intruder would come. I would be able to hack, but the probability is low enough.

I would see, perhaps a bigger problem in the operation of the system because there are certain rules. If you want that system to do a preventive measure and prevent theft, it needs to be properly used – it is not enough to have a system just. These are elementary things to give and remove the alarm.

– Police say a good neighborhood is important. How much can neighbors can protect and maybe there is some exemplary scenario, how do neighbors agree on a plan of action?

– Apparently, the police could answer more precisely because they have seen more different situations. But rational thinking, first when there is a close community, a safe neighborhood and one communication channel, whether in a group, they share their observations. That is, if we have some area – an apartment building or staircase – and suspicious persons slide, which is already an information that we need to be alert. – There are neighbors in cities, but there are very few or not at all in homesteads. What to do for homestead protection? And what are your tips for people who do not have a budget security system or video surveillance cameras?

– You should go back to responsibility again: not to make very valuable material assets, which could attract the requests, lock the door, close the windows, put everything in less visible places to obviously not attract. If you have a neighbor who lives all the time and you do not live, it may ask you to come periodically and look at your property. After all, the same electronic security measures. In the absence of a budget, it is even a mulch – a non -working camera – already a preventive protection measure that can scare away. How much it costs is apparently a matter of agreement, because companies that are engaged in the sale of CCTV systems, I think they have to do not work cameras that you can just give in a friendly way.
