They declared no -fly zones for the clinker and the bang.
BRATISLAVA. Anyone who wants to pilot any drone in Slovakia with cameramust take at least one extra step from July last year.
The new legislation sets out which drone is enough to register for the state database, when the drone must be insured, when equipped with a special identifier or who pilots have to go through a training course.
In practice, this means at least that when buying a drone, the pilot should count on the extra fee. However, it is possible on it to save.
While the new rules were shaken, the process was accompanied by several uncertainties, and information on the Internet varies.
The SME daily found out how the whole process can be simplified by an ordinary user who wants to use the drone for private purposes, such as shooting videos from trips or family events.
For breach of new duties, the drone owner is threatened with sanctions arising from the Aviation Act, says René Molnár from the Transport Authority. « If he holds the operating permit, the permission may also be limited, suspended or canceled. » In more serious cases, criminal liability is also possible.
According to Molnar, the transport office is already acting in several cases in cooperation with the police. The offenses are mainly related to the operation of drones without compulsory registration or to their flights over people’s rallies.
For breaking a ban on drone over the areas affected by Slintecka and a wing There is a fine of EUR 500 today. It is up to 3500 euros for deliberate proceedings.
The answers to eight practical issues in connection with the operation of the drone editors prepared in cooperation with Václav Michalčík from the Association I have a drone:
1. Which drones we are talking about
For the owner of a small drone who photographs and records video, the information about his weight is important. Registration does not only need a drone weighing less than 250 grams that does not have a camera. If the drone has less than 250 grams and has a camera, it must be registered. It is a category C0 – it should be stated on the identification label. The owner does not need any training. All you have to do is read the user guide to the drone.
Drones of 250 grams above need to be registered in any case (category C1 and above). In addition, the owner must take an online training course and exam.
2. How many years must the pilot have and when is the drone toy
