Whoever has come here knows that the Margaret Island Theater is not just a concert venue. In the middle of the Danube, far from the noise of the city, the stage, which is embraced by nature, creates a special atmosphere that simultaneously gives rise and intimacy to all productions. Here, no loud scenery dominates the space. “The place has an inexplicable attractiveness that always influences the viewer ” – says Mező Misi. “The proximity of nature, the tower, the auditorium, the history of world-class technology and the place-all enchanting and raising the concert in a worthy place: the soul of man. ”

However, the concert on June 6 will not only be special thanks to the venue, this time the band will perform with Big Band accompaniment with the ABS Big Band. The idea is not new: their keyboard, Lesták Marci was a member of the military band himself, and a decision in Gödöllő was made to play music together. “After watching their concert, we immediately felt that if we wanted something to break up, we had to realize it with them.« Misi recalls. »We’ve given a few concerts together and I can safely say that it was an unforgettable experience not only for us but also for the audience. The songs from the Big Band are thanks to László Grünnald, who made wonderful transcriptions. ”
The title of the concert was borrowed from one of their particularly beautiful, nostalgic lyrics: « How many millions of hearts in the old island … ». Kara Misa, the band’s bass guitarist and lyricist, revealed that the quote also evokes the atmosphere of old Student Island Festivals: “The original inspiration can be traced back to the Student Island in the 1990s, but of course it also carries a lot of fantastic concert experiences on Margaret Island. This place has really collected hearts over the years. ” To the question of what songs will be played in the evening, Mező Misi replied firmly: “We are happy to play every song, but now we have selected the ones that are particularly good for the Big Band sound world. Of course, the biggest Magna hits cannot be missed. ”
