House on the Diana Family estate burned. The police are investigating
The residence is the seat of the Spencer family since the 16th century. It was here that Diana spent part of her childhood. And since her death, the island of Althorp, which lies on the estate of Spencers, is the official burial place of the tragically deceased duchess.
And although the grave of Princess Diana is not available to the audience, visitors can pay her tribute to the monument erected on the estate.

On Wednesday, May 28, the brother of Princess Diana, Charles Spencer announced that the house located on the premises of the « Queen of Human Hearts » was set on fire. Unfortunately, the building could not be saved.
« Fortunately, the house was empty at that time, but it is still deeply worrying that one of our homes was set on fire by vandals, » he wrote in a post on Instagram.
The fire brigade, however, informed that when the two -story building arrived at the place, it was completely burned. – To prevent further spread of the fire, four hosts worked on the spot – it was reported.
Nature Conservation Manager at Althorp Estates admitted that there was a deliberate set. « The house that we lost as a result of a deliberate act of vandalism must be razed to the ground for security reasons, » he said.
The Northamptonhire police also confirmed that he was investigating the suspicion of arson. – The fire, which was reported early in the morning (Wednesday, May 28), was probably intentionally caused. However, the exact cause has not yet been determined – the police added.
In turn, David Horton-Fawkes, general director of Althorp Estate, that house and outbuildings have been uninhabited for several years, and the area is intended for reconstruction as part of the Dallington Grange investment. – Our priority is to secure the area and make sure that it is safe. As far as we know, no one was injured – he explained.
