House fills at Syndis’s Security Conference
A number of people attended Syndis’ Security Conference in Harpa’s Northern Lights Hall yesterday. Several foreign and domestic networks professionals reviewed how network crimes are evolving and what opportunities are available to build better defenses.
In a statement from Syndis, one of the world’s most respected network security experts, Mikko Hyppönen, has reviewed how databases have developed over the past ten years and what we are aiming for for the next decade.
It was also reviewed what happens behind the scenes when an internet attack occurs.
Swedish hacker David Jacoby, who is today a network security specialist at Syndis, and Jan Olsson, a specialist in the Swedish police, reviewed how artificial intelligence will affect businesses and communities and how to respond to this development.
« It was invaluable to get together in Harpa with people who share the same goal as we who are promoting network security in Iceland. The sooner we take these issues seriously, the stronger we stand as a community against the threats that face, » according to Antoni Má Egilsson, CEO of Sin.
