Hotel accommodation for a year has risen in price by 19%

High tourist activity at the upcoming May holidays and ahead of the increase in demand for five -star hotels led to an increase in the average cost of night in Russian deployment equipment by 19% year by the year. Despite high competition with foreign directions, about 70% of tourist trips are carried out within the country. A pronounced increase in demand is shown by Crimea, Dagestan and small cities located near Moscow.

Alean notes that the placement in Sochi, Moscow and St. Petersburg for a year went up by 15–20%, in the Kaliningrad region-by 30–40%.

An increase in hotel tariffs can be traced in the context of high demand. The island notes that hotel armor on May 1–11 for a year has become more than 20%. But a small number of working days between the holidays in itself led to an increase in the number of internal and foreign trips.

Travelers this year began to plan May trips in winter (See “Kommersant” dated February 11). Demand for the organization of business trips on the dates of the May holidays, according to OneTwotrip for Business, grew 61% of the year by 61%. This is due to the combination of workers and entertainment trips.

Another factor in the growth of the average cost of reservation within the country could be a change in the structure of demand. The island notes that interest in hotels of the “five stars” levels within the country increased by 35% year by the year, and their proposal – by 18%.

Similar objects began to open in small cities, noted in the « island ». But in the structure of demand, expensive objects form only 3% of the reservations. 54% of guests choose apartments and hotels “without stars”.

The President of Cosmos Hotel Group, Alexander Biba, says that the download of his network on May 1–11 this year will be 55–56%. In terms of regions, the indicator is higher. So, in Volgograd, in the period of May 8–11, the value, according to him, grew by 12 p., To 92%, in Altai – by 17 p., Up to 75%. The Mantra Civil Code notes that the price of accommodation in coastal hotels of the network has increased by 10-15%for the year.

The commercial director of the Vaste Hotel Management Criminal Code Lusina Gurshudyan says that at the Rosa Khutor resort, the number of reservations for May holidays increased by 6% of the year, and 35% of guests increased the duration of the placement. As a result, the loading of the fund will be more than 60%. The object in Uglich for the weekend, according to her, is 100%filled in the first May holidays. The average tariff in the hotels « Vasta Hotel Management » on May 1–11 amounted to 8.3 thousand rubles, adding 10.1% a year to the year.

The most popular internal direction for organized tourists for May holidays, according to « fly.ru », was the Krasnodar Territory, which formed 29.7% of the reservations. But by a year, this indicator decreased by 9 p.

The decline is dictated by the situation in Anapa: due to the spill of fuel oil in the Black Sea at the end of last year, local beaches are still closed for swimming (See “Kommersant” from April 22). This year is followed by St. Petersburg (12.9%of sales), Kaliningrad region (10.5%) and cavalries (10.4%).

Alean recorded an increase in demand for trips to the Crimea for May holidays one and a half times, in Dagestan – two and a half times. Interest in the Yaroslavl region grew by a third, although it is limited by a small license plate. The Ostrovka Managing Director Daria Kochetkova considers traveling within his or neighboring regions one of the key trends in the upcoming holidays. It can be traced in conditions of general growth of interest in small cities (See “Kommersant” dated December 14, 2024). According to Ostrovka, the number of May booking in Rybinsk increased by 72%year, in Pereslavl-Zalessky-by 50%, Uglich-by 48%, Vyborg-by 31%, Suzdal-by 25%.
