A reader contacted the editors of the website, who – asking for anonymity – informed that she has been working in the Hospice in Lubin for several years nursewhich usually during night changes was to give patients increased doses of drugs, including morphine. As reported to the portal Lubin.pl asp. staff. Krzysztof Pawlik, a 50-year-old resident of Lubin, who was a nurse in this center, was detained on Monday, March 10. The woman is suspected that she served patients « many times higher doses of drugs than recommended by a doctor, including opioid drugs. »
The incidents, as the police reveal, were to reach from January 1, 2023 to March 10, 2025, i.e. until the 50-year-old stopped.
The woman accused of her actions is punishable by up to 3 years of imprisonment. The 50-year-old pleaded not guilty and refused to explain.
– At the request of the police, the prosecutor applied a supervision to a woman twice a week, a ban on approaching doctors, nurses and guardians with whom she performed professional activities and a guarantee. The police do not reveal further details due to the nature of the case. According to the findings of the Lubin.pl portal, more and more families who want to be witnesses in this matter report to the command. The prosecutor’s office is to supervise it.
