This situation caused indignation and anxiety among parents and residents, because the device, instead of securely securing and excluding from use until professional repair was carried out, the kindergarten staff arranged them with tape.
Visitors to this place do not hide their indignation. – I come here with my son to this playground, but I didn’t even pay attention to it. I thought it was safe here, but from what I see, it’s probably not really, because the equipment on which my child is playing is not entirely functional – tells the reporter « Fakt » Marta, mother of Alana. Not only she is concerned about the situation.
– It’s extreme irresponsibility to do such things. Damaged devices on which our children play should be immediately dismantled and repaired, not glued with some tape-Mrs. Sylwia, a resident of Praga-Południe, is indignant. People on the web write that this is not the first problem of this type. – There has been no excavator for over a year. In the spring of last year, the black foil was wrapped in construction poles of one of the swings, so that the inhabitants did not see the delamination of wood and did not report for 19115. The poles were replaced after months – we read on one of the local groups.
The swing is publicly available
The reporter of « Fakt » went to the place to check the condition of the devices at Kindergarten No. 1 in Praga-Południe. Some of them do not look good and should be subjected to the service as soon as possible. In the worst condition, however, the aforementioned swing is. When rocking, it not only creaks loudly, but you can also see that it is not entirely functional. These devices have not been mentioned for years.
They have no money for a new playground
Kindergarten employees in an interview with the reporter of « Fakt » say that the devices are serviced and meet safety standards and that the case has been reported to people who are to repair them. They also claim that the facilities cannot afford new devices. – We don’t have funds for new equipment. We do what we can to keep everything in good condition, but the area is publicly available and the destruction occurs. We are going to service it. The case is reported to the insurer and this will be repaired – explains Ewa Krawczyńska, economic manager of the facility. It ensures that the device does not pose a threat to children, but is the tape a really adequate solution? People speak directly.
– It’s absolutely unacceptable. The damaged device on which children play should be immediately excluded from use. The playground is a place where strict safety standards apply. They should fix it and then share it. You can’t expose children – explains Mrs. Ilona.
