Homeopathy for Dogs – Blikk

As a host, my stomach pops up when I see one of my dogs lame or tired. Fortunately, these are temporary problems, and I dare not think of what I would do in the case of a more serious illness, such as a spinal cord, which cannot be remedied by surgery. More specifically, but I know today. I would turn to Dr. Katalin Tornyi, who, with acupuncture, treats and maintains diseases that cannot be cured with Western conservative medicine.

  • With the help of acupuncture, dr. Katalin Tornyi treats four -legged patients

  • Acupuncture effectively helps various internal medicine, chronic illnesses, elderly patients, epileptic, allergies

  • Acupuncture treatments are approx. They last for the first time for an hour and a half and then 45 minutes from the next time.

Acupuncture is not a new type of fad: the roots of one of the oldest therapeutic tools of traditional Chinese medicine go back to the 2nd century before our time. There are many treatments in Hungary, and as it turned out to me, not only for us humans but also for animals. Dr. Katalin Tornyi is a holistic and integrative veterinarian We visited the forest garden veterinary office, where his four -legged patients arrived.

At home, the animals are still rare acupuncture Treatment, do I guess?

Dr. Katalin Tornyi: Fortunately, it is increasingly spread to both hosts and veterinarians. It seems to me that colleagues are opening towards it, trying to learn this type of treatment.

What diseases can I help with this method?

Dr. Katalin Tornyi: If I want to give a very quick answer, I would say that everything is good where you do not need surgical intervention. But if surgical intervention is needed, we cannot replace surgery itself, but before the intervention It may have a major role in pain reliefor after surgery, complementary to medication, reducing its amount. In response to your question, for example, in the case of various spinal problems, even after surgery, they recommend acupuncture, and there are lesions that cannot be operated on, such as spinal cord infarction, and is very effective. Then it can be used with good results for various internal medicine, chronic illnesses, and in patients with old age, where the whole system is complete. In connection with this, for example, it also helps with joint problems. But I have very good experience with epileptic, allergic patients.

How to imagine such a treatment?

Dr. Katalin Tornyi: The first time is about an hour and a half, because we start with a longer examination, but a maximum of 45 minutes from the second time. I usually wait for the needles to fall out of themselves, so I shot the time interval.

What does it depend on when to fall out?

Dr. Katalin Tornyi: If we look at the traditional Chinese approach, when the treated points become more energyfully balanced. If you want to translate it to us, it is understandable to Western people, it is actually a matter of creating a microtrauma when I prick acupuncture points. The body responds to this with various cells and compounds flowing into the area, and these compounds result in the tone of the soft tissues around the stabbed point, so that the needle will not hold and fall out. What we are talking about here is all Western diseases, but to achieve the best results with acupuncture – or even traditional Chinese herbal therapy or feed therapy – we also need a traditional Chinese diagnosis. When the dog comes in, I ask the owner if there is a change, what I experience, and I observe how the dog behaves, look at his heart rate, back shu points, see the tongue of the back, and if it does, it has no plaque or plaque. This is how it is the current state and I choose the points according to how many and the point I pierce the day.

Now she’s treating elderberry, the Vizsla girl … it’s bad to watch her legs like an eagle … Do you have to stay with the needles after treatment?

Dr. Katalin Tornyi: As long as the needles can, the dogs can stand on top of their heads, they will not fall out. Even if they shake themselves, only the needle that has done their job will come out, the rest will remain inside. Of course, it would be more ideal for everyone to lie calmly, but they also have different habits, so they don’t bother me when they were moving. Bodza had a spinal cord infarction that cannot be treated surgically, and unfortunately, with Western methods and conservative treatment, we have relatively few tools in our hands, with which we can improve its condition. In this case, colleagues recommend acupuncture and physiotherapy. These two methods complement each other very well, nicely: one can replace the other, but in this case, both are used, a very good effect can be achieved. Unfortunately, Bodza is quite loaded with various lesions, but I think we can keep it very much in control, and his condition is well managed.

How much does the dog hurt when you insert the needle?

Dr. Katalin Tornyi: At the moment of insertion, there is always a so-called de qi feeling (pronounced: deccsi). This De Qi sensation can be a very pleasant, warm, tingling feeling, but there are points where the moment of insertion is very unpleasant and painful. However, you need to know that if you stab you in the right place, this bad but Qi feeling will only last as long as the needle is inserted, then it will disappear. It is not always predictable in advance how the animal reacts, so I usually tell the owners that they catch their favorite – can be the dog, A cat or horse – so that neither in the host or in me can harm me if this discomfort happens when stabbing.

Yes, we saw before the dwarf pincher that we had to give a mouth basel ….

Dr. Katalin Tornyi: He is a 4 -year -old pet that comes from Debrecen for treatment. For him, the mouthpiece is not primarily important because it hurts at the time of insertion, but has created a fairly antisocial behavior and distance with the veterinarians and the new environment since it has lost its vision. It was a very sudden thing for him.

What happened to him?

Dr. Katalin Tornyi: There was probably some poisoning in the background, but the reason was not exactly the case.

How long can the effect of this treatment feel?

Dr. Katalin Tornyi: Even after the first treatment, a good -eyed farmer is noticeable some small changes. However, in order to make a spectacular change, you usually need more treatments. It is very variable, who requires and at times the process of therapy depends on the disease, the animal’s body and the existence of the disease so far.
