New weapons and war methods are being developed continuously, and experience shows that ordering and deliveries of traditional weapons have a long time perspective for renewal, and they are vulnerable and costly in operation and investment.

The war in Ukraine shows that modern fighter aircraft are not crucial in today’s war. Billion investments for the operation and purchasing of frigates and fighter jets have become so costly and vulnerable that one ends up as Russia, which places its war fleet and aerial weapons far away from the war zones.

The Armed Forces’ strategists must develop a defense that is cost -effective, extremely mobile, and without known location. Defense units without address in Norwegian nature will deter any intruder.

The defense funds should not be used as a district policy, assessed on the basis of fair geographical distribution. The goal should be an effective defense where the defense funds ensure us the best possible defense for the investments made. The wars in Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan and Ukraine have shown that superior traditional weapons resources are not crucial to the development of the war.

Norway’s topography and disputes, without address, will make Norway a deterrent wasp, which will deter any intruder. Advanced monitoring equipment in the form of listening systems in the sea, and advanced radar and satellite systems that will provide the defense with information about where the invaders come, while the invaders lack specific battle targets and lack an overview of the location of the defense!

Frigates, aircraft and tanks are expensive in purchasing and operation, are vulnerable, and with today’s satellite -based monitoring, the enemy knows at all times where they are. With newly developed weapons technologies, we can afford a number of defense units that are moved and impossible to monitor.

We can further develop and produce these weapons types in collaboration with Sweden and Finland, and thus remain large parts of our future weapons investments in our own country.
