Homage to Florin Piersic
The Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), which will take place in Cluj, June 13-22, will open a tribute to the actor Florin Piersic.
« The 24th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival will be opened by ‘Christy’ (r. Brendan Canty, Ireland / UK, 2025), a hopeful story about maturation and the power to take it, awarded in Berlin. The film will be designed on the big screen in the Union Square on Friday, June 13 Homage to the actor Florin Piersic, who will receive a prize of excellence.
According to the quoted source, the film also inaugurates the new competition section TIFF, Teen Spirit, dedicated to the exploration of culture and the universe of young people. The selection will include 9 titles – both fiction and documentaries – evaluated by a jury consisting of adolescents between the ages of 16 and 20.
