HNS published by: Maksimir host match Croatia – Montenegro

The Croatian national team will do the June Mini-Turnej: June 6 against Gibraltar in Portuguese Faro, and on June 9th with the Czech Republic in Osijek. This is followed by a continuation of qualifications in which « Fire » will visit the Fari Islands on September 5, while on September 8th, Maksimir will welcome Montenegro, with a beginning at 8.45pm. Montenegro from the bench leads Robert Prosinecki, Former Dinamo Zagreb player and former member of the Staff of the Croatian national team. In the period 2006 to 2012 he was an assistant Slaven Bilic.

Due to the appearance in the finals of the League of Nations, in which Croatia played the quarterfinals with France, « Fire » includes qualifying with « delay ». In Group L, along with Croatia and Montenegro, there are also Gibraltar, Fari Islands and Czech Republic. Montenegro and Czech Republic are currently leading a group with maximum effect. Prosinecki defeated Farish Islands and Gibraltar at the start, while the Czechs achieved victories against the same opponents.

The match against Montenegro will be the first appearance of the Croatian national team at Maksimir after almost a year. The last time « Fire » played at that stadium on October 12 last year, when they hosted Scotland in the third round of the League of Nations
