Durana Tech Park’s ports, the space that will become the epicenter of the growth of enterprises, technological and economic development of the region, opened today with granting certificates for its first residents. Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that the certification of the first residents in Durana is the first concrete product of a vision that seemed utopian.

The prime minister informed that the process has begun for three well -known Italian universities and has an interest from other universities as well. Through strategic support for small and medium -sized enterprises, Durana Tech Park aims to attract foreign and domestic investment, while promoting the development of high -value products and services added. With a focus on research, innovation and production in the technology sector, this technology park is designed to create a group of skilled experts and to push forward economic growth.

Durana Tech Park is located in Xhafzotaj. The location is strategic due to its proximity (15 minutes) with the port of Durres (the largest in Albania and one of the largest in the Adriatic) and Tirana International Airport (20 minutes).

Guarantees access to the largest and most qualified markets in the country (Tirana and Durres), which focus 75% of higher education institutions and research centers. The area is quite large, with an area of ​​about 26 ha in total. This property is divided into three separate parts that are not directly connected, even though they are close to each other.
