Here’s who called the road trip to Strasbourg
On the eve of the final competition, Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis, MEP, Edita Žiobienė, Head of the Children’s Rights Protection Ombudsman, Darius Jonušis, Director of the Kartodrome of the Children’s Rights Protection of the Republic of Lithuania,
VP Andriukaitis, who congratulated the children, announced that the main prize he had established – a trip to the European Parliament – how much is changed: children will not go to Brussels, as previously announced, but to Strasbourg and asked if they would not get angry for it?
« No, » the choir had a unified answer, though no one has yet to foresee which team will defeat and who will have such happiness.
It seems as if all children had known that the European Parliament, which they would visit, the Council of Europe, the European Court of Human Rights, that the city with a beautiful, half a million population is famous for its largest banks and insurance companies, river shipbuilding and railway industry, culture and more attention.
A tournament is required
Children who participated in the finals and attending day centers were accompanied by their guardians and a group of signs of the « Bičkauskas signatory E. Bičkauskas. »
« I am delighted to see the fire in the eyes of the children, their desire to compete and spend their time meaningfully, » said Kęstutis Rubežius from Vilnius. « That is why this idea of the signatory, the contribution of the Children’s Rights Ombudsperson and the Karting Dodge of the Children’s Rights of the Republic of Lithuania to its materialization – invaluable and very unfortunate.

Many Kęstutis was such an opinion.
« We will admit, we are the constant participants of this full -time tournament, » said Žana Komar, who has accompanied his daughter Amino and Son Damian, who defended the honor of the New Vilnius Children’s and Youth Day Center « Our Huns ». – Last year, this team won the prize – a balloon flight. For everyone, it was the first journey in the air, and the talk about it did not last a month and even half a year. ”
Ž. In the opinion of Komar, the « brick » karting track is the best sports base for this type of sports in the capital, easy to reach for children and providing them with all the conditions for training. That’s why Jeanne also recommends all friends, as she and her husband and children spend a lot of time turning the wheels on the karting track.
We talked to Jeanne with the newly qualified competition when she did not know that both of her offspring would compete in the finals, where she would make a significant contribution to the team’s big victory.
Stubborn struggle and rising speeds
Although the careful children attending day care centers competed in the karting, it was often difficult to believe that the little cars were not operating every day. Proper trajectories, increasing speeds and persistent, inflammatory struggle from the very first runs.
« It is difficult to even realize how fast the children’s abilities are and their thinking, » said E. Bičkauskas, the initiator of the tournament. « I remember well the first final competition 17 years ago, when the view and the whole race drama did not match today. »
This is evidenced by the shouts of victory, and tears of despair and the cheeks of young racers, both after each ride.

Did not lack activities and during breaks
The children had to enjoy even hot lunch or delicious Aurum ice cream for a short time. Because they were awaited by a spirited education, which became a true history lesson on the battles of armored Lithuanian knights with enemies led by experts from Mediemiai.lt, a rope pulling, throwing ball into barrels and other attractions.
And the best support teams that brought fork and other additional prizes were recognized by the Great Children’s Care and Social Assistance Center and Elektrėnai Municipality Beižioniai Community Children’s Day Center.
