Here’s what lies behind the awards behind the scenes

All of Lithuania is awaiting April 1 for the same reason-Golden Onions Awards. Who, with his work, words and actions, « deserve » the most important awards of the year? What will we see on stage singing, dancing, or even arriving from far America? Finally, why will the audience awards look like in the real … fairy tale?

The awards will be fabulous this year, as this is their theme – a fairy tale!

Will you guess who, in the world of Lithuanian politics, is Alibaba and 140 robbers? Or a cat and a cock? And a goose pumpkin that flew to the Daus? Princess on a pea? There are many options… And who will earn the main, true « fairy tale of the year » nomination?

This year’s awards ceremony broadcast will be full of many news. For example, for the first time in the history of all awards we will see as many as 4 presenters!

This time, two other presenters of the « Good Evening Show », who will be entrusted with special tasks this time, will join the longtime event hosts Arūnas Valinskas and Justinas Jankevičius. The audience will be entertained by Ceremonicist Gian Luca Chipolini and Witchcraft Political Spells Vita Light.

However, the first generation will not end … In the festive broadcast you will not only find out why the « Quote of the Year » will be selected for the first time without competition, but you will also see unexpected guests – Donald Trump and Melani Trump.

Many will be surprised by another interesting fact. For example, did you know that Agnė Širinskienė, it turns out, is a bunk of Lithuanian politics?

And he will be right because « the money » turns out there will be quite a few. In addition to the awards already listed, we will see this evening what became the Song of the Year, « Surprise of the Year », « Election of the Year », « Election of the Year », « Farewell of the Year », « Escape of the Year », « Kisses of the Year » and « Travel of the Year ».

True, the Lithuanian entertainment world will not go unnoticed. One of them will be awarded the extremely savory « show scandal » award…

However, apparently, the audience will be most delighted by the many « politicians » who sang on the stage, which became the most prominent stars of the Lithuanian stage per evening. These include Davis Norvilas, Inga Valinskienė, Nijolė Putyytė-Rukaitienė, Marius Jampolskis, Ramūnas Rudokas and many others.

And this time Justin Lapatinskas embodied two characters – Gintautas Paluckas and… Remigijus Žemaitaitis, the scandalous.

What do « golden onions » behind the scenes hiding?

These « golden onions » became special for Justin himself – all the ideas they had become a reality.

« It all starts with the desire to participate. And this year I – I can laugh – I have been tired. And the event shows all this in an attractive form, ”he said.

« There were people who spent almost half a day in the makeup chair. My own makeup took about 45 minutes, but just because my characters are not so much needed – the costumes also impress, » Justin shared.

And Nijolė Putyytė-Rukaitienė was the biggest impression on J. Lapatinskas himself. As she embodied a famous politician, the audience will see this evening.

« Because we worked with Nijole, we decided to do everything for fun, to get our hair. He intrigued.

And if another politician should be awarded the Golden Onion Award for Justin himself – why would he give him?

« It seems to me that everyone deserves awards. Of course, I would lie if I said I am not following politicians. So I think those who are not given, let you forget. If you don’t mention them, it will disappear (laughs). To teeth, expect the best, ”J. Lapatinskas concluded the conversation.
