Here are the five participants

On Thursday, June 6, Grand Master returns with his ninth season.

The audience can look forward to following five new participants, each bringing their unique personality and humor into the competition.

Here’s an overview of who you can look forward to laughing with – and of – this time.

This is how it writes TV 2.

Meet the participants here:

Ane Høgsberg

37-year-old Ane Høgsberg has marked himself as a strong voice in Danish comedy. With three one -man shows behind her – and a pervasive theme of feminism – she is not afraid to address community debates with a twinkle in her eye.

She received the award for this year’s talent at Zulu Comedy Galla in 2016, and many will remember her from the DR series ‘All Hate Feminists’.

David Minerba

With his 22 years, David Minerba is the youngest member of this year’s field. He has already created a solid fanbase at Tiktok under the name Dopeman & Lapello, where he makes sketch videos and parodies.

In 2024 he took the leap to the stage with his first one -man show Young Dirch Passer, and earlier this year he also released music in the duo Dopeman & Lapello.

Lars Hjortshøj

A true comedy legend also enters the Grand Master universe. 57-year-old Lars Hjortshøj has been part of the Danes’ consciousness since the 90s, when he broke through as a standup comedian.

Mette Søndergaard

38-year-old Mette Søndergaard has many caps on-she is an actor, playwright and comedian. She is known from satirical productions such as ‘Why don’t we talk about me’ and the series ‘Dad’, made with Sofie Jo Kaufmanas.

Mikkel Klint Thorius

Mikkel Klint Thorius entered the comedy stage as a finalist in the DM in stand-up in 2013 and has since created a solid career. He won the Comedy Fight Club in 2017 and has toured with three one -man shows – most recently in 2023.

Lots of laughs, surprises and creative solutions have been set up when the five participants meet in Grandmester’s legendary universe.

The new season will premiere on June 6 on TV 2 and TV 2 PLAY.
